I am committed to my profession. I am a big supporter of ALIA. I am wondering though, is this really necessary??

Maybe they chose it simply because they want to make sure that nobody will disturb them on that day? Nothing more annoying than people walking into the library during your Library-day festivities.

If only I too could escape. It would seem that my library service is participating this year. I
n manner of bitch though, I’m going to make staff dress in red or pink that day, because I can. I figure if someone else made the decision that we’re supporting it, I’m going to make it as awful as possible so hopefully we don’t do it next year.
